Holistic, compassionate therapy for teens and parents

I believe the foundation of therapy is the relationship itself. For teens, trust and connection with a therapist are essential. I work to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where young people can feel comfortable opening up about what they’re going through.

I also work closely with parents and caretakers. Sometimes therapy involves both parent and teen together; other times, it’s most helpful to meet individually with a teen, or just with parents. We’ll figure out together what will be most supportive for your family.

My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I incorporate psychoeducation so that both parents and teens better understand what’s happening developmentally and emotionally. I adapt my interventions to fit each person’s needs and personality, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices. With my background in public health, I also take a holistic view, exploring the ways that sleep, nutrition, and movement shape mental health.
